ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a mixed media painting. I have used acrylic paint, oil pastel, and oil paint. The painting is very expressive, the use of paint in building texture gives a three-dimensional feel. It is painted on Birch panel, with a 2 inch recessed side which is also painted. It is wired and ready to hang, no need for framing. My work is expressive and painterly, I use line and texture to tell a story.
