Värmdö Painting

The piece is in reference to a photograph of the artist's childhood, originally part of the collection from her solo exhibition "Don't you want somebody to love?" which was held at the U10 Art Space in central Belgrade. It is currently on display at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Novi Sad, Serbia as part of the group exhibition "Attitudes and Forms 02", after which it will be on sale. The piece is made of 24 separate canvases, integrating 3 techniques: Oil on cotton canvas, acrylic silk screen on cotton canvas and photo-transfer on cotton canvas. The pieces were mounted directly on the wall of the space, however may be framed in minimal wooden frames with glass protection for conservation purposes (either each canvas separately or as one large piece).
