VOYAGE Painting

MARK´s work is known for it’s impulsive and energy loaded appearance. It is the search for the invisible truth behind all things on a physical and mental level. The destructive and creative elements and the energy flow in between, the continuous change to allow evolvement are the core principles of his work. The diversity in medium and expression is as limitless as the message itself. He started his career in 1988 ,after studying classical painting, under the guidance of several great artists, as a pioneer at the cultural hot spot, the Praterinsel in Munich. 2000 he moved to Costa Rica, continuing his work in a different environment, influenced by an unspoiled natural world as a drastic contrast to the industrial atmosphere of Germany. Huebner’s work has been presented throughout live performances, installations as well as sculptures and printed media. His work also includes super structures and installations introducing bamboo as the main material. Huebner lives and works in Germany and Costa Rica.
