About The Artwork

"VACUNO 1" is an abstract painting sculpture. This work of materic art is made with the petral technique and I used mineral pigments agglutinated with resin on a carved plate of DM. The motif is the cut out shape of a cow's head. The golden and ochre tones create a natural beauty. It is a work that integrates very well in a small empty space of modern architecture. The energy of this work is to put one's feet on the earth and receive its nourishment. This work was exhibited at the Exhibition "Xaverio A Quantum Perspective 1975 – 2018" in the Institute of America of Santa Fe, Granada, Spain From April 10 to May 20, 2018.

My name is Xaverio. From the moment of my birth in Granada, Spain, in 1956, I was destined to fulfill two important missions. The midwife told my mother, "This child is going to be an artist and has the gift of healing". Motivated and happy from a young age, I dedicated myself to art. Sometimes my fridge was full and other times it was empty. Working like an alchemist who creates colors and textures, I have used minerals, sands, crystals, gems and pigments mixed with resins. I created sculptural paintings that I called "petrals". Petrals are works of materic art that interact with light, with architecture and with the observer. I wanted to acquire a spiritual refinement so my artwork would convey positive energy, peace, harmony and beauty. I attended Native American ceremonies, studied Tibetan meditation techniques and travelled to India and Africa. By the age of 45 I had achieved international recognition as an artist. I had works in some of the most important art collections in the world: the Thyssen-Bornemisza collection in Madrid, Spain, The Capitol Art Foundation and the New Mexico Museum of Art in Santa Fe, USA. Lady Di, Sean Connery, the Dalai Lama and many other personalities own my works. At age 46 I decided to fulfill my mission related to health. I began to develop the Yoga and meditation techniques of the Indalo Codex Method for integral health. I wrote books that can be found on Amazon. I have lived in Spain, New York and New Mexico, where I was considered a Latin American artist and exhibited my work in some of the best Latin American art and fine art galleries. My work has been inspired by nature, water, the colors of insects and fish. The moon, the cosmos and the universe are present in many of my paintings. I have worked with total creative freedom in various styles, such as Sensory Symbolism, Maximal Art, Minimal, Monocrhome, Gestural Painting, Art Meditation, Chromotherapy, Abstract Art, Geometric Art, Madi and Land Art. I am a founding member of the Quantum Aesthetics movement which draws inspiration from the subatomic world to unite psychology, literature, art and science. I feel good when I create a works of art and I want the people who contemplate them to feel good too.
