About The Artwork
GREEN ON RED is one of my favorite works in the Rothcoll Series. It achieves a subtlety in color and transparencies that delight me whenever I contemplate it. The superimposition of colors, very similar, in the background make it vibrate in a subtle and at the same time powerful way, and the moss green square, like something from nature itself, rests softly on the background reds. It is a work with a strong presence that exudes harmony. VERDE SOBRE ROJOS es una de mis obras favoritas de la Serie Rothcoll. En ella se alcanza una sutilidad en el color y transparencias que me deleitan siempre que la contemplo. La superposicion de colores, muy semejantes, en el fondo hacen que éste vibre de forma sutil y a la vez poderosa, y el cuadrado verde musgo, como algo de la naturaleza misma, reposa con suavidad sobre los rojos de fondo. Es una obra de fuerte presencia que emana armonía.

I was born in Mendoza, Argentina and I currently live in Spain. Each stage of my life is embodied in the work as a biography. So in these moments my work has released metaphors and concepts becoming abstract. When I start painting, only colored surfaces come out, throbbing planes of diffuse limits, veils on each other that create depths and doors to mystery. Colors that communicate with each other. Colors that seem not combinable come together or touch each other creating harmonies, vibrating, sharing space, empowering each other. In the creative moment everything arises by itself. The colors, the glazes, the forms appear and I marvel at what I see as if I saw a film! Without associated thought, colors become pure spirituality.
