Another of my wild fluid style paintings.
I just love creating art with different abstract styles.

The story of this painting is different, like most of my works.

This story------- Well there is another painting on the back. I did not like that one very much so I turned the board over and painted this one. Which turned out fantastic.

Now the name------- Well my middle name is Vincent ( No Van Gogh jokes please I have heard them all before )
So when one of my MAD mates saw this one he said I should call it Vincenzos Fungus to make it sound like a famous Italian painter, so the name stuck.

There are three stages to the painting but the results were definitely worth the effort. No paint brushes were used on this one.

It is a real eye catcher, most people have to stand closer to have a good look at the intricacies of the work.

This work is finished in a high gloss varnish which accentuates the contrasting definition, and protects the paint.

It has a fine white timber shadow line frame which adds to the contrast, and finishes the composition.

On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls.

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette. His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured plaster bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character. As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary abstract. He uses various mediums and acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes. Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques. Patrick has had many exhibitions, either solo or combined with other artists. He has won acclaim and awards for his abstract imagination. His work is displayed in galleries on the Central Coast and in private collections. .
