Visions in white, black an gray (Diptych) 39,3 H x 63,7 W x 0,7 in (100 cm x 162 cm) each panel measures 31,8 W x 39.3 x 0,7 in ( 81 cm x 100 cm) In this work I have been inspired by works of abstract expressionism and Turner paintings. In this diptych I have worked on the idea of composing a dynamic landscape with a reduced color palette to give more strength and dynamism to the image, with a more ethereal atmosphere and a subtle brushstroke working in layers. First I have painted it in acrylic and I have finished it with oil. The work is painted on canvas. I only use quality materials. Shipping in a tube. My name is Cristian, I am a full time artist, this is my main occupation. I love art, I have a great passion for abstract painting. I studied at the School of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires (Argentina) where I graduated in Painting. I live in Spain in a wonderful environment surrounded by a lot of nature, this is in the north of Catalonia near the Mediterranean Sea. Painting for me is the reflection of my emotions and feelings, it gives me a feeling of unlimited freedom. Sometimes my works are gestural, impulsive, intuitive, minimalist, expressive. My paintings start from the accidental, but then I start to organize the apparent chaos to give a certain order of containment, of calm. I work with layers of color and transparencies, first with a gesso primer to give the paint texture and depth
