About The Artwork
When travelling through Spain, one has the typical experience that suddenly a big black bull appears on a hill. The bull is a trademark of Spain, this figure has been around since my childhood and brings back memories. I placed the figure in an abstract landscape. His sudden appearance is always connected to the journey through the landscape. I hope that the viewer feels the vastness and richness of the Spanish landscape and the power of this icon.

Born in Celle, Germany. Painting for me is to undertake an adventure tour travelling through the realm of colours, senses and rhythm. Spontaneity, authenticity and emotion are my key interest. My painting are very colourful and they add to an atmosphere of joy and energy. They are food for the soul. I am very much influenced by the German expressionist and the “Tunisreise” of Macke and Klee.
