At the beginning of August this year, my mother and brother and I visited the village of her childhood, Zapruddia, in the Kyiv region, near the Gorokhovatka River. My mother's childhood was spent here, this part of the village is called Vovkivshchyna, and somewhere there was a house, which no longer exists and a new one was built on its place. After a little walk and chat with the local people... We went home, on arrival I decided to mark in the diary of my memory this landmark trip for us. The sky that day was a bit gloomy, and at the end of our trip we were rewarded with a little rain. This is a field near Vovkivshchyna, and a white house with a blue roof can be seen in the distance. P. S. Reading the history of the village, I learned about historical events and personalities, the village survived Koliivshchyna (public unrest in Ukraine) and the Holodomor from the Soviet communist regime. An interesting fact was that this village was visited and probably depicted in his works by the French artist Dominique Pierre de la Flise.

I think every painter should be (very) individual, even not part of (any) collective values... I think every human must and should has very own understanding about things-in-themselves of world, of human... But not about society, you must be asocial marginal in yourself, when you're apart its only the way to save and grow your own independence, and it will be fundamental basis and art will be as result of it... Painter must be director of movie of his art. This world is about art. Art is sublimation. Absolutely every person should have her creative reflection, the embodiment of her spiritual abstract middle, into concrete living creatures, paintings, sculptures, music, photography, or black and white amateur cinema even... I would even encourage everyone to create and depict, regardless of qualifications, skills, skill, and all that, independently of enthusiasm and inspiration, they will themselves explain the way of embodiment, the form of material, and the basis or content, as it would look like, as a manifesto of the world about oneself, but on the works, you will be completely, reflected and immortalized. Life is naughty. Art is eternal. For a generation and beyond... Ars longa!
