ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting was part of a series about energy waves. I mean the waves detected by modern physics including those that heat your tea in your microwave oven. I wasn't trying to paint those waves as such but I did create wave-like forms as metaphors for the importance of energy, such as light and sound. I don't know why I use the past tense as I am going back to painting wave forms now! This painting was first shown at the State Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Belarus in Minsk.
