About The Artwork
In a time where the future is uncertain and our first priority is health and safety I feel as though we are looking through windows and watching the world in a different way. I hope that this painting gives a sense of both be cautious and feeling hopeful looking through the windows of our sanctuary. Feeling our senses through the windows, yearning for the world to heal and our ability to safely find comfort in it once again. Many times I paint to blur the line of reality using an abstracted environment to place figurative components in. I feel like we walk in two worlds, one bound by the laws of nature and one that is the mystery of who we are.
