Please note - prints on various substrates available in sizes 9x12 to 30x40 One of the things I've liked doing for quite awhile is finding the spot or spots in my art work that very clearly speaking to me, even if I'm not quite catching the words. Sometimes consciously analyzing what I'm seeing and why I'm liking what I like works. Most the time not 😊 At that point, like seeing the beauty in my wife's face, a child's smile, or a kitty cat's soft meow, all I can do is look and listen. Then I can begin understanding why I like what I like in a section of a new (or older) work; begin being the operative word, since sometimes the dialog spans decades. Here, in Waterfront Burlington Vermont 2024 Detail, there's the obvious dance between washes of colors and denser pigments. And somehow, it feels like that dance has swatches of swirling turns mixed with stand alone moments of good old body boogieing - like a sudden solo cha cha cha in the midst of a tightly held partner swirl.
