The painting was created after getting my feet wet from skipping on river rocks at Warren Falls in Vermont. The painting is exicuted in the expressionist style to captures the essense of the rushing water during March thaw. The cool color palette is used to convey tentative glow of the early spring sunlight. ● Gallery-wrapped heavy-duty stretched canvas 20" (51 cm) high, 20" (51 cm) wide, and 1.5" (4 cm) deep; sides painted, ready to hang, hardware included. ● Multiple acrylic gloss and satin varnish coats for UV protection, reduced glare, and easy cleaning. Dina Belyayeva is a New England-based, Russian-born artist. She received traditional academic training back in the former Soviet Union. After her move to the United States, she pursued career paths in business and academia, and only in 2020 she returned to painting full-time. Dina is a member of art associations in Connecticut and Rhode Island. Her works received awards at competitive juried exhibition and found homes in private collections in the US and internationally. Her artistic style is rooted in traditional realism, covering a wide range of subjects with an intent to convey immediacy, and let authentic energy shine through.
