About The Artwork
This painting is about my travel to Monopoli, city in south of Italy, where many of cultures met and made it very beautiful. Greek, Italian, contemporary. In combination with blue of the sea and magenta of Flowers it was a little paradise on Earth. Made of many layers of plaster and concrete, paint and photographs on canvas. Made by my unigue technique of layering plaster, concrete, choosing materials and destroying. It is made on canvas and stretched to frame. It has its own weight, but not so much. They can be comfortably hanged to a wall.
