We Are Part Of It, critical evaluation by Eliza Yacheva. Highly fragmented piece. The vague human silhouette is outlined by blue and red. The palette including neon greens, cyclamic, patches of yellow, blue and light purple are active here again. The artwork is very atmospheric in its combination of forms. The strong lines are in contrast with the fairy-like shaped cloth that looks as if it was just blown up by a gentle wind in the right part of the composition. Abstract art is often seen as carrying a moral dimension, in that it can be seen to stand for virtues such as order, purity, simplicity and spirituality.The idea, derived from the ancient Greek philosopher Plato, that the highest form of beauty lies not in the forms of the real world but in geometry, is also used in discussion of abstract art, as is the idea that abstract art, since it does not represent the material world, can be seen to represent the spiritual.
