Amidst a serene and thought-provoking canvas, an enigmatic scene unfolds. A young girl stands in contemplation, delicately hanging up Salvador Dali's iconic melting clocks, suspended on a fragile clothesline. The ethereal wind softly rustles the clocks, transforming their once rigid form into fluid, evanescent shapes. In this surreal portrayal, the artist skillfully plays with the concept of time, inviting viewers to reflect on life's fleeting nature. Each tick of the clock becomes a gentle reminder that time is transient, and the present moment is all we truly possess. Beyond the artistic symbolism lies a powerful message: "What are you waiting for?" It serves as a gentle nudge to those who hesitate, encouraging them to embrace the present and pursue their aspirations with determination and purpose. The painting's subtlety and depth evoke a sense of introspection, prompting viewers to ponder their own relationship with time and the choices they make. In this contemplative masterpiece, the artist invites us to find meaning in the transient and embrace the beauty of the present, as time's ephemeral melodies play softly in the background.

France
Anja Spagl is a german artist with a humanities background. She comes from Nuremberg, studied sociology in Bayreuth and Bordeaux, and at the same time learned to paint in Bordeaux (2016-2019) in the studios of local artists. Since 2019, she has a gallery space in Germany and exhibits regularly in France and Italy. Watercolors remained her technique for the first few years, and she gradually switched to oil and acrylic painting. Her paintings are an invitation to a surreal world that is characterized by a poetic, romantic and sometimes melancholic note. It's about raising questions in the viewer without necessarily wanting to force a concept on him - subtle criticism that is hidden under the filigree aesthetics of the brushstrokes. Art is a specific way for artists to see and understand the world - and at the same time a way to escape from the moment. Art is the answer to essential human aesthetic and intellectual needs and: it is even able to reconcile both.
