Some years ago, when I was a little-known artist, one woman asked me why I had only women's bodies and flowers on my canvases. I looked around and understood that she was absolutely right. Forgive me my talent, but all my works were alike. But my intension was to create something special. And I started to look for this 'special'. I left my family, my wife and began to look for the one and only, the one that would inspire me to a new masterpiece. A year and a half I was looking for new acquaintances, met different women. With one I could talk for hours, with another sink in carnal pleasures. But it was all wrong. Getting tired of one girl I started to look for another. I just couldn't get enough, like Jean-Baptiste Grenouille in Patrick Süskind's 'Perfume: The Story of a Murderer". Suddenly I felt as if I had been struck by lightning "Alex, stop!" Look inside yourself, who are you really missing, who are you looking for? This was the moment when I realized, whom I missed so much, whom I loved so much. Whose image froze in my mind..the image of my wife - the one and only who truly inspired me. I did my best to earn her forgiveness. She took me back and we live happily together more than a year. And staying happy as I am now I created my Ideal of a woman. It's a collective image, it includes everything I need for happiness - beautiful figure, bright colors and love! there's also a lot to talk about. And what's your Ideal?

I quite get the idea what should be written in this paragraph. There should be the biography of the artist as close as possible to the labels which people usually assign to artists. Something like «he was born blessed. With a brush in elegant hands. Painted since early childhood, attended art school, get higher art education at 23. He organized more than dozen successful exhibitions, received worldwide recognition…» just like Picasso from birth. No. That’s not my story. I got it all in a different way. I do not paint, I create. And I do so because I want to, not cause I was taught to. Because it makes me feel good. This is my freedom. I do not have a lot of fascinating recommendations and rewards but what I do have and consider to be the most important - is the delight of creating something that would astonish people who look at it. If one gets the pleasure of contemplating the pictures, only then I’ve done everything right. Luckily I got only rave reviews. And that is exactly why of more than 500 pictures right now I have in my disposal only a few. I sincerely hope that you will enjoy my work, and it will be impossible to forget it.
