About The Artwork

This series of painting is created based on “Moira”, a story CD of Sound Horizon. Moira means destiny in greek. On the top left corner, Elefseus’s days of being a slave is expressed by the myth of Sisyphus, which symbolize the absurd exercise of futility eternally. Diptych: For the painting on the left, Elefseus is the subject. As for the painting on the right, Artemisia is the subject. The semi-transparency implies the subject and the separated situation of the two. As Artemisia got the talent of interpreting astrology, only the painting on the right shows horoscope at the bottom.
