"What the Moon Revealed" was created during a personal art challenge I set for myself to practice and create art for 100 days.

This piece is actually one that spans time. The base of the woman's face is from a sketchbook drawing I made when I was only 15 years old. I cut out that piece that I have been carrying with me for years and glued it to the base of this canvas. From there, I let my intuition tell me a story of why this woman was so sad.
As it turned out she is a queen. She sheds a tear for all the time she wasted doubting herself. She was a queen all along and there is a poignant sorrow for wasting so much time doubting herself. The tear she sheds is for time wasted. But was it? Wasn't it every moment she experienced that brought her to this place of knowing now?

This piece is for all Sovereign Beings who recognized that perhaps they spent too much time in self-doubt. Just remember - even that was key to your process.

This piece is 2 paintings in one, and can be arranged in any way that feels good. Made with a mixture of inks, watercolors, light-fast acrylics and gesso over paper elements. Coated in natural beeswax to preserve and protect the artwork.
