About The Artwork

The work is inspired by a photo I had of a friend suddenly caught in a white lie. The lie was in fact to save feelings of a close relative. I was intrigued at her expression of surrender and how her strength of character still carried through the incident. I hope that others are inspired to see beauty in others personality, even if there are contradictions, in their actions. I chose acrylic for its versatility, and the way it worked with a layered gel. The metallic acrylic inks added a high reflectivity, and overall brightness to the piece.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I consider myself a cross media artist, comfortable with traditional art materials, and excited by new medias. I am most intrigued by the mind-body connection's intersection with science and technology. The paintings I show here, are part of a series called "Acts of Creation", referring to both the practice of creating, and cellular mitosis at the quantum level.
