Which One First? Painting

Working from a tiny island in the Inner Hebrides Works are painted, mixed media, prints or textile. Art of perception, action and narrative. My artworks; paintings and mixed media, evolve organically from life's everyday glances. Each layer determines and guides the next. My work explores relations between existentialism and perceived reality. What we see and what we think. I tread a path through observations and emotions. My inspiration: a contemporary life and the natural history of a north European country. I search for inspiration every day, to reach feelings, opinion and attitudes hidden below the surface of everyday appearances.Influences on our everyday lives. A record of fleeting sensations.
