Whistler is an inspiring mountain region and I am lucky to be living quite close by. I am interested in the saturation of colours and the simplicity of forms. The paint is thick and dense, and the composition lyrical, as apposed to organized, much like it is nature.

Harris holds a BFA from University of Emily Carr Art and Design, and has worked as an independent arts instructor, mentor, and facilitator of studios and societies. She has exhibited extensively at public and private galleries as an invitational and represented artist. Harris is an explorer in all capacities, as a maker, a traveller and a media voyeur - all in search of another point of view.
