To create this watercolor I was inspired by amazingly beautiful white tulips with ragged edges petals. I love all unusual sorts of tulips. In Russia, I almost never seen such rare species, but in Germany, especially in the spring, flower shops delight with their amazing variety of tulips. The special charm of these flowers in their thick, succulent petals with deep veins, which form a textured fringe at the edges and give the tulip unique picturesque plasticity. Contrasting shiny dried fruits and nuts came in handy to emphasize the delicate texture of the flowers and make some tasty looking sense to still life. With pale green stems and leaves, all together weaved into a peculiar graphic pattern.
This measure of conditionality helps to avoid a literal realism, and remain within the framework of traditional painting technique.

From my first step, my future was determined. My father, grandparents, uncle and aunts were artists. So, the paints, canvases, pictures and sculptures were all around me, and I had started to absorb the spirit of painting from my birth and make my first memorable attempts when I was three years old. I went to a school of art the year I turned seven and five years later I enrolled into vocational art school. In 2005, I was pleased to enter the Academy of Arts (St. Petersburg State University of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named by Repin), the faculty of painting with a specialization in restoration. In 2011 I got a master degree as a professional painter and restorer of oil paintings. Currently, I work as a self-employed artist. I have sold my works through the galleries in St.Petersburg and to private collections. You can view my paintings in the online gallery or visit my studio in Stuttgart. The primary inspiration for me is nature, the richness of forms, the vividness of colors and harmony as the whole. I am also keen for the experience of the Old Classic School of painting, which I get by following the best practices of the masterpieces from the Old masters. I trying to make close replicas that are presented in my portfolio. My second specialty is restoring, which is why I pay special attention to the painting technology, using only high-quality materials to save my artworks in excellent condition and intact for a long time. «Beauty will save the world» - said the classic. I believe this and hope to bring some piece of beauty into the world as I perceive it.
