This original painting was created using Acrylic, charcoal, oil and pastel on Linen canvas. It was sealed with a fixative varnish. This painting is unframed, has a certificate of authenticity included and it ships on a wood crate through a shipping company. About my Artworks: Living in the countryside of Portugal surrounded by rolling hills, olive and oak trees will always have an impact on my paintings. My colours change with the seasons and all seasons have our terracotta colour soil in common, its always present on my Art. Winter and Spring are a magical time of renewal of all living things here, colours burst everywhere I look and that reflects on my paintings. My Art is also impacted by my emotions and my struggles with life, making my style a constant change.

Claudia was born in Lisbon, 1976. As a self-taught Artist, she developed her criative side by painting and drawing as a hobby while working in technology for over 18 years. After living and working in England for 10 years she returned to Portugal to live in Serra de Serpa, in Alentejo, a sleepy countryside area in south Portugal where her family is from. There, she started painting Abstract Art full time. Claudia works with several techniques, from Acrylics to Oils, intuitively composing expressive pieces with various styles, colours, brushstrokes, shapes and textures. Nature around her home and her emotional experiences throughout life are a constant source of inspiration in her work. Her works are in Collectors homes all over the world and have been featured in several magazines, Claudia also works with Art Curators and Interior Design Companies.
