About The Artwork
A highly textural piece involving a variety of techniques evokes wild rose beauty in mountain landscape. I used plaster, calcium carbonate, enamel, acrylic, ink, watercolour, pastels and a modest amount of glitter and gold paint for accents in this artwork. It endured layer after layer thin coats of colour and now has a feel that I was after. This artwork has an amazing presence - you'll love it in person. As this piece is on glass, it will be shipped in a crate. The wooden frame is part of the painting, in mostly aubergine tones, with some weathered gold effects.
