Despite they are works about nature, these painting are not coming from nature. They are coming from my study and also from an argument that has allowed me to work freely in that time; I have imagined that i was an explorer trying to identify the way forward in a forest. Fantasy streamlines the mind of worries. The things that really interests me are the images that are not slave of his owner. And to create them and identify them when they arise, i need to get away from the power that the reasoning of the mind has. The objective are those silent images, which don´t say anything to the mind, but they arise to stay.

I am interested in certain images from which I can extract relevant information. It wouldn't make sense for me to make a total abstraction, or something clearly recognizable. I think it is important to maintain a geometric or structural remnant that promotes the sensation of remembering something, a visual construction to decipher or understand. Horror vacui generated by the influence of Tapestry Art, ceramics, mosaics, heraldic shields or Japanese prints into the context of hypertext painting let me play with the white background of the paper or canvas that acts as a context between the spontaneity of the brushstrokes. On a practical level, I am interested in superimposing, skewing the information in the image, placing tension on the margin or playing with color through pictorial exercises of freedom.
