About The Artwork
One of the best views in Zug, up on the hillside looking over the beautiful old town towards the lake and the mountains beyond. Mt Rigi is always present on the horizon. The rolling slopes of the rose garden provide wonderful peaceful walks and has inspired a number of my paintings. This one exaggerates the crisp Winter scene at the time, but it would not be unusual to see this sort of snowfall. The area is also renown for it's sunsets... which are often pretty spectacular in their colours.
