Winter sun – A abstract winter landscape
Created with palette knife and has a rich, nice impasto texture and soft colors.

Although like most of us, for obvious reasons I love the summer, I adore the winter for the light. There is a sort of magical silence to the air and an ethereal light.
The bright sun is not warm. Rays of heart-warming light in the winter.

I wanted to capture the bright but low light of the winter sun. The low sun creates high tonal contrasts.
The colors are vibrant and alive and the texture is highly tactile. There are layers upon layers of thick paint on this piece that give it a dynamic appearance. It is a wonderfully colorful mess of colors, vibrancy and texture.
Sides of the canvas are painted in white, no frame require unless desired.
Delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity.

As a child, every time I would come across a work of art I would observe it, trying to unravel all its hidden mysteries. Each stroke of the brush, each stage, each underlying feeling until the work was finally complete. • I would try to unravel this web of feelings, thoughts and beauty underneath our eyes. This curiosity is still in me today. A work of art has a life of its own and it is fascinating to discover it. to paint is a world of feelings, a form of language that only realizes who paints and who observes the work
