About The Artwork
This image was inspired by a woman I crossed paths with. Although I did not know her, and our interaction was brief, her expression made an impact on me. I was especially intrigued by the intensity of her eyes, and how they seemed to see right through everything around her. I enhanced various elements, not wanting to reproduce an exact realistic portrait, but show the impact of her personality. This is one image from a new portrait series in acrylic/ ink.
