The motivation to create this painting was a return to the roots. I realized to what extent the art academy had blocked me. For many years. Now I decided to paint a portrait in the style that was closest to me when I started paintIing. I feel strong conection to ravens so I decided to paint the friendship between a girl and a raven.

My name is Anna Kwiecień. I was born in 1995. I've been creating since I can remember. Until now, I have a lot of folders of my Creativity from my childhood. My main interest is oil painting and people in it. I love to paint emotional states, experiences written on a human face and what is hidden in the eyes, because everything is expressed in them. As they say, the eyes are the mirror of the soul. I treat painting as a kind of meditation that frees me from fear and as spiritual development and learning about the inner compass, which I can listen to only in the act of creation. I love realism and impressionism. Surrealism is also close to my heart
