I am living in Istanbul and very interested in many branches of art since my childhood and studied at the workshop of the famous painter/art teacher and writer Kayihan Keskinok for two years. Now I am so happy that I have a lot of time to paint after working as a foreign trade manager in many companies until the end of 2022 and I have a lot of time to paint now. Because I am able to concentrate much more on oil painting works in order to spend most of time in my workshop in the last tree years. When I was in England for an education, it was an opportunity for me to visit some great museums to examine impressionist works closely that I am very interested in. In the last four years, I have been using oil paintings on canvas with palette knife in my works instead of brushes. I am trying to create texture on the canvas by thinning the paints only with a little painting oil without using any turpentine. I love painting human, animal figures and natural life. I try to paint by observing the instantaneous colour changes of the light using primary and vibrant colours to apply the understanding of rhythm i the painting, the warm/cold colour balance, the strong interaction of contrast and complementary colours im my works. I create the human and animal figures to have previously designed from my own perspective, without being stuck in mulds and with my own unique palette knife strockes. Finally I try to create original works by combining them with my feelings.
