Women Empowerment Painting

What/who inspired the work? I was inspired by a small neighborhood market in the inaccessible area of a city called Warri in the Niger Delta, South Nigeria. "Pepper red" a popular saying in Nigeria means “your harvest is good and you are getting your due share”, while "aproko" means “gossip” so the gossip area market where money is made daily and gossip goes viral as in .com What do you hope its viewers will feel/think? Hoping the viewers will feel the energy of the freshness of the freshly harvested vegetables in the brilliant colors and activities Why did you choose the medium, subject matter, and style? I usually think and use Acrylics as it is considered a modern plastic water-based material that would last longer than oil paints. I mostly chose this subject because I spend my daily life in the environment of suburban areas and rustic living that is very close to nature. That is why I choose the style of surreal expressionism. For style, I paint circles; but I can not call them pointillism. It looks impressionistic but it is expressionistic because it is my dream state but not real
