I once went to a tiger reserve. It was kind of an enclosure for injured or wounded tigers to stay and recover. There was one tiger who had cancer and was about to die. Even though he got care from the biologists there, I could not help but wonder at the look on his face, which tends to imply that he has to go through the pain of not seeing any friends or family members during his last days.
