Estelle Maria Rey has been working for many years on the phenomenon of celebrity, reality TV show, social networks, scandal magazines... Yatch 1 is a painting in the series of “watchers” where the gold leaf is used to mask the eyes or the camera lens of people facing a celebrity. In this painting, the deck of the boat is treated with gold leaf. It depicts a scene where PARIS Hilton jumps from his yatch with his girlfriends. The painting is broken down into two sequences and chromaties to represent the time space of the dive.
