This painting represents a moment of melancholy. You know that feeling when you can stop by and think about nothing? For me, this special feeling deserves a painting. What's interesting in technique is that the background is perfectly flat and the person is painted with a thicker layer of paints. That can build a lot of personal interpretations...

There are a few details to mention:
- The painting has painted edges of the canvas according to the motif, so you can hang it without a frame.
- The technique is mixed. There are flat parts of paint and thicker layers of paint, so you can clearly see the difference.
- My signature is on the reverse side of the canvas.

Hello! I’m Ewelina Czarniecka. Since middle school, my close ones have called me "effe." I’m a painter and a graphic designer. I learned about painting skills from my grandfather and father. I gained my creative soul at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Later I enriched it with strong graphics knowledge while studying at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. While I’m painting I focus on things that improve my mood: strong colors, contrasts, women with distinctive character and shapes and nature. I’ve been painting professionally for five years in my beloved studio in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. My goal is to create pleasant and simple art for people.
