About The Artwork

Image title: "agato ŝtono" "agato ŝtono I" "agato ŝtono II" I painted 3 square images on a 3.5 cm high canvas each. The blue-turquoise images I associate with summer, water and blue sky. The motif is painted in mixed media and the colors look rich and very vivid. The edges of the stretcher are glazed yellow and form a beautiful contrast to the blue. The title is in Esperanto and means "agate stone". Size per image: Height 29.0 cm x width 29.0 cm x depth 3.5 cm. The pictures can also be hung independently of each other.

Born and raised in a small town in Eastern Germany I moved to Berlin to study fashion design. Since then I lived and worked in this wonderful city. My collages shall tell a story through their playful lightness. Berlin as a city is a major inspiration for my artworks in recent years. Especialy the ever changing architecture and gentrification. Through various exhibitions and envents i became part of the expanding berlin art scene. Besides my work as an artist I convey my knowledge and expertise to children and teenagers in social projects for more than 20 years. Moreover my artistic passion lies within analog photography and photography with pinhole cameras.
