About The Artwork

Click this link to watch the video of the work https://youtube.com/shorts/kqcZds3w-Yc?feature=share The picture is painted with a palette knife and a brush. I used texture paste and gold leaf in my work. Gold leaf coated with a special varnish.A hero who has fantastic magical abilities - can fly, see through objects, has super strength and super speed - reflects some social expectations, and in this sense, fits into the picture of the world that people have. As a kind of symbol, he embodies their utopian expectations for the future. This naivete is still always present in the culture, and its expression is the mass culture, which belongs to superheroes.

Hello, dear friend! If you have any further question about the artwork, if you want more photo's, please don't hesitate to ask. You might be interested in the origin of my paintings and what were the soursces of my inspiration? To begin with, I'll introduce you to myself and my work. My grandmother was always busy with a needle, so I guess art is in my genes. In my childhood, I loved to draw. But my parents did not encourage me pursue art as a career for they considered this as a hobby and not a profitable profession. Besides, in the Soviet Union time artists were rather poor. After a car accident when I was 13 It was advised to rather attend the art college than normal school. That is where my art career started. Since that time I paint in a style of pop art with acrylics on a theme of abstract superheroes. I like to experiment, mixing different compositions, paints and colors, combining in itself themes that can’t be combined.I am a person who is constantly looking for new ways to express myself. Drawing takes me into another world where i can forget the demands of everyday life.
