About The Artwork
This was done on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 as an homage to commemorate the victims of this terrible event that rocked the world. It is a mixed media painting/collage on photo paper . Choosing painting/collage was simply very intuitive, but in retrospect my guess is since the whole storm series had to do with war , collage was the most suited as you would have to put together bits and pieces in order to make a new work , a bit like gathering bits and pieces of your shattered life after a disaster to start a new beginning.
