‘Home shifting’ withdraws from the emotions and struggles faced by oneself when moving from one home to another, showing up at a base richness that supplants paint as a medium; yet is completely established in painterly exchange. Within each piece, manifests the feelings of a person by using child imagery on a two-dimensional surface through strategies of abstracts reflection, representation as well as experimentation. The visuals are based on the topic of ‘home-shifting’ that depicts the feelings of a child when he experiences that phase of leaving a place with immense memories embedded into it with a place with everything new.

Nain Tara, born in Faisalabad, Pakistan, never initially lived there as her family moved to Karachi soon after she completed matriculation from Karachi moved back to Faisalabad and completed Higher Secondary Education. Her unwavering dedication to the arts led her to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree, specializing in Painting with honours, from the prestigious National College of Arts in 2021. Nain Tara exhibited her work at Anna Molka Gallery, O Art Space, Dominion Gallery, PNCA, VM Art Gallery, and STORIA Gallery physically and done virtual exhibitions nationally and internationally. Among her recent notable accomplishments, Nain Tara achieved success with a captivating two-person show and secured the coveted title of winner in the HBL Art Call 2.0 in 2023. Currently, Nain Tara is diligently preparing for her upcoming exhibitions and also secured Zartan residency in Portugal for 2024. showcasing her commitment to ongoing artistic development and self-expression. Her studio practice reflects diversity and innovation, displaying her continuous exploration of various artistic mediums and techniques. Alongside maintaining a diverse studio practice, she actively contributes to the community by volunteering with an NGO, and her expertise and experience, have led her to serve as a visiting faculty member at Rawalpindi Women's University.
