About The Artwork
I was a competitive springboard and platform diver for years growing up through high school and college. One day, while doodling with stick figures and trying to show them in motion within a static medium, instead of showing the "diver" in each frame represented by an anatomically correct silhouette of a mans body, I began to imagine myself as if "I" was the diver, doing the diving, and suddenly "I" became the figure diving, but represented by the lowercase letter "i", with arms and legs, and thus iDIVING was born.
