About The Artwork
While doing the large paintings out of his 'Skelette' series a cut off leftover remained. Turning it around, opening the right side and stapeling an older canvas to the bottom Philipp Donald Göbel once again asked the question how a classical panel picture works. By the usage of rather dull greenish grey colours reminding of early nothern renaissance he even increased this intention.
