Medium: oil on canvasYear Created: 2010 With this work, I wanted to exorcise the fears created after the 7 7 bombings in which I could have been one of the victims. I created this canvas in a small flat in Enfield (North London) between shifts, completely isolated from anybody interested in art..Painting this canvas made feel good, every brush stroke was a happy one and landed just where it was needed. The imagery was juxtaposed randomly just as the casual work I was getting through agencies back then, there is the question of God popping up amongst the debris and an imposing eagle demanding attention. The work has been acquired by Marula Furlan in February 2016.
