This icon of the Mother of God is called "The Grower of Crop". In the Orthodox Christian tradition, in front of this icon, the Mother of God is prayed for a blessing for harvest. I painted on this icon the Mother of God sitting on the clouds in a halo of glory. I made this icon in a delicate and subtle style, where one color shines through the other, which creates a glow effect. The ears are made using the gilding technique.

Ukraine
My name is Victoria, I am an icon painter from Western Ukraine. I paint Christian icons according to ancient Byzantine technology using natural materials and gold leaf. This technology of egg tempera has been tested by time and allows you to preserve icons for many years and even centuries. Ancient icons in museums confirm this. I do not just copy ancient icons, but try to bring something new stylistically. I paint icons to order, at the request of the client, but also I paint for inspiration exactly the way I want. I will be glad if you look at my works and want to buy something for yourself.
