About The Artwork
main painting showed at my solo show Paisaje / Landscape, at MAVI museum of art, in Santiago Chile in 2017. this painting depicts an akward situation regardless native chilean territories, today own by pinochet´s supporters. own by timber companies, the dictator took over this territories in a shady fashion, leaving whole communities surrounded by this pine plantation with out any management the it comes to fire safety regulations and such. the big fires experience in the south of chile in 2016, put all this in evidence. of course nothing has change since then.
