zion Painting

This is work from Smadar A Livne it is in a series with the name zion as the medium. I corresponded with the artist and she indicated it was a series of paintings under the name zion. Whether it is a print or or series that I am not 100% certain. It is number 49 off 199 and was sold in 1997 for 1200. It is signed and dates numbered tagged zion on the back of the art work and obviousely signed on the front. I was recently given this from a clent whos penthouse I was painting. After corresponding with the artist there is hebrew text embedded within the art. I have the translation and it is quit nice if you would like it. I also have many others works rangeing from hanging tiles that are numbered in a series with just the intials Lo framed in a box?. They strike me as having a Japanese element to them, carved teak bowl and cup set from denmark with a imprint it, artifacts found off the beach of Lido Key here in sarasota fl, which have a pottery element to them and there feather like carvings in them, other variouse original art, bibles one of which is dated 1868, older key chain charms and host of other collectables I have come across that if nothing else I found interesting. I could elaborate on any of these if anything strike your interest. Likely they are not worthy of value. However theZion painting or what I believe to be original I know has some value having correspoded with the artist. From what I can tell on the canvass after carefully examining it I see and feel brushstrokes and other meduims embedded in the painting, flecks of reflective material ect. I do love the art but just the ame I seem to find art on a regular basis going threw thrift shops, consign,ent shops, arcitelltetual salvage ect that may or not have value but I like them jst the same.
