About The Artwork
Part of my last solo collection Dèjá Vu at DPM Art Gallery in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The whole idea of the collection was born at my grand mothers tailor atelier I used to visit when I was a Child and watched her sewing patterns. Later on in my artist life I re visited this sewing maps and developed a whole idea of painting things using that intricate line system. The result was this serie of 15 pieces I called Dèjá Vu.

I was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, on October 26, 1960. I am an attorney at law with a doctor degree, in a full time private practice basis. I am also a surfer with 40 years of experience. Married with Ana, father of three kids.My career as an artist started in 2.003, when I decided to study fine arts at the Ecuadorian Art Institute (ITAE). I took painting, drawing, sculpting, and art history, among others as my principal subjects until 2.007. Some of my works have been chosen to enter into art festivals and salons.
