About The Artwork

One theory suggests that complex life on earth began in warm, shallow, salty tide pools millions of years ago. Perfect conditions, ones that had some variability but not enough to kill early life forms who had not evolved enough to adapt to a chaotic environment, were present in these pools, and each were slightly different from one another. These differences possibly allowed a variety of life to develop independently each other. When exploring the shallow waters of oceans along the coast line, many life forms and a myriad colors occupy the sea floor. One can imagine that the beauty present in tide pools and estuaries around the world hold the key to our past, and maybe even our future, if we had the right cipher.
