In my zodiac goddessartproject, I've chosen different goddesses to represent all 12 starsigns. Goddesses from Africa, India, Sweden, Hawaii and more. This is the wise, kind and just Greek goddess Athena, representing the reliable, trustworthy and wise starsign of Taurus . Known as the goddess of wisdom and war, Athena is usually portraid as a benevolent goddess- strong, knowledgeable, fair and merciful. Sure, she is a goddess of war, but we are talking about wise strategic battle here, and of picking the right ones. The warrior strength of Athena is not based on aggression. She does battle with her wits instead of weapons. As the goddess of wisdom, Athena was known for her superb logic, noble reasoning and high intellect. and she was often called upon to settle disputes between the gods and various mortals - which she usually did in a well-considered, highly etchical way. Athena is a patron of all useful and elegant arts; weavers, potters, goldsmiths, sculptors, musicians etc. Strong and self-sufficient, she is the prototype of the modern career woman. A wondeful affirmation that there are no limits to what a woman can do with her intellect and creative ability.
