Inspiration: Reflections on the spiritual and physical journeys To climb a mountain may be a double-sided experience with spiritual and physical dimensions. When we go up the hill, the air we breathe changes constantly and this evokes different thoughts and new solutions to old problems. But to feel like a mountain, surrounded by mountains, is already a state of mind. There is a Zen koan which answers the question “How to control our emotions ?”: imagine a mountain, then put clouds or a sun over it – these are the emotions – and note that the mountain is always monolithic, majestic and beautiful, no matter what happens around. Technic: acrylic and pastel on paper. ● “Sediment process” is a knowhow of the artist - a language for visual description of form and its content.
