About The Artwork
A heavily worked contemporary portrait of a woman obscured by expressive painterly gestures. Made using acrylic, marker pen, pen and correction fluid on 200 g/m2 gsm Favini paper. This particular series of paintings borrows something of the aesthetic often found in classic American films of the 1950's. Like many of my paintings on paper this piece is crimpled and creased in parts due to being heavily worked. Please refer to detail images for a closer look Signed, titled and dated on the front.
